These the official guidelines relating to use of any aspects of the AlTareq brand (e.g the AlTareq logo).
While these guidelines are not in themselves a part of the Open Finance Standards, they should be followed in all cases by TPPs and LFIs when making any reference to Al Tareq. This includes where there is a defined requirement in the Standards for use of any aspects of the AlTareq brand.

1. Overview
The AlTareq Brand Guidelines outline the approved usage of the AlTareq brand, including the AlTareq logo and related elements. These guidelines must be adhered to by LFIs and TPPs whenever referencing AlTareq. This includes instances where the Standards specify the use of AlTareq brand elements.

3. Use of the AlTareq Brand in Open Finance Journeys
The following principles and requirements set out how LFIs and TPPs must apply the AlTareq brand for Open Finance user journeys. This applies equally to Bank Service Initiation, Bank Data Sharing and Insurance Data Sharing.
3.1 User Experience Principles
LFIs and TPPs are required to maintain a seamless and consistent user experience in alignment with the User Experience Principles defined in the Standards, specifically the following sections:
3.2 General Requirements
LFIs and TPPs must:
Include the AlTareq logo and progress bar (e.g. Consent-Authorize-Complete) on all screens where this logo and progress bar is displayed in the Customer Experience section of each journey.
Follow the exact design (colour, spacing and font) for the AlTareq logo and progress bar as defined in the Standards for each journey.
Include the AlTareq buttons (e.g. Pay by bank using AlTareq, Pay using AlTareq, Proceed using AlTareq, Authorize using AlTareq, etc) on all screens where these buttons are displayed in the Customer Experience section of each journey.
Follow the exact design (colour, spacing and font) for each AlTareq button as defined in the Standards for each journey.
Display all fields and data elements, in the same order, on each screen as defined in the Standards for each journey.
Follow the exact design for redirection screens (TPPs for redirection to LFIs, and LFIs for redirection to TPPs) as defined in the Standards for each journey.
LFIs and TPPs must not introduce any additional screens or steps in the journeys which are not defined in the Standards.

3.3 Allowable Variations
LFIs and TPPs may:
Use their own name/logo/design/colour in the header of each screen, to be consistent with other screens in their web/mobile app.
Use their own fonts, colours and spacing for any fields in between the progress bar and the AlTareq buttons on each screen.
Make subtle/minor changes to field labels (e.g. ‘Reference’ in place of ‘Payment Reference’) to be consistent with other screens in their web/mobile app.
Include supplemental information on relevant screens, providing this is explicitly allowed for in the Standards.
