A. Limits

A1

Max Retry Frequency

This is the maximum frequency of retries a TPP is allowed to make during the Retry Time Window. The max frequency is defined to be once every 2 hours.

Min Number of Retries

This is the minimum number of retries a TPP MUST make during the Retry Time Window for any payment that previously failed due to funds checking or LFI unavailability. This is defined as at least 3 retries during the Retry Time Window.

Max Consent Validity Period

This is the maximum validity period allowed for a Long-lived Consent. This period is defined to be 1 year.

Max Authorization Time Window

The maximum allowable time from the Consent being submitted (i.e. staged) by the TPP to the LFI until the Consent is authorized by all required authorizers (one or multiple). This period is defined to be 30 days.

Max Submitter Authorization Time Window

The maximum allowable time from the Consent being submitted (i.e. staged) by the TPP to the LFI until the Consent is authorized by the User who is initiating the Consent via the TPP. In case of multiple authorizers, this will be the first authorizer in the authorization matrix. This period is defined to be 2 hours.

Max Payer Note Length

The maximum number of alphanumeric characters that the Payer Note can have. This is defined to be 35 characters.

Max Payment Reference Length

The maximum number of alphanumeric characters that the Payment Reference can have. This is defined to be 140 characters.

The maximum number of alphanumeric characters that the Note To Payer can have. This is defined to be 140 characters.

Max Consent Inquiry Period

The period during which a Consent in Terminal State is still open to TPPs for inquiries in relation to the Consent or any of its related requests (for example payments). This period is defined to be 30 days after the Consent has Expired, Consumed, Revoked or Amended. After the period elapses, the Consent is flagged to be closed for any activity.

Max Variable-defined Schedule Entries

The maximum number of pre-defined pairs of dates and payment amounts that TPPs can populate in the Variable-defined Payment Schedule. This is defined to be 50.

Max Variable-defined Payment Amount

The maximum allowable amount of each payment that TPPs can populate in the Variable-defined Payment Schedule. The mechanism for defining this value will be confirmed in the future.

Max VRP Payment Amount

The maximum allowable amount of each VRP payment for each Variable Recurring or On-demand payments. The mechanism for defining this value will be confirmed in the future.

Max VRP Consent Cumulative Value

The maximum Cumulative Value of all payment initiations for the entire Consent validity period. The mechanism for defining this value will be confirmed in the future.

The Maximum Cumulative Number of all payment initiations for the entire Consent validity period. The mechanism for defining this value will be confirmed in the future.

Max Inter-bank Payment Amount

The Maximum payment amount for inter-bank payments allowed to be initiated by a TPP using the UAE Open Finance Standard.

B. Constants

Retry Time Window

The time window of the day during which the TPP will retry to make a payment which has failed earlier due to funds checking, LFI or TPP unavailability. Time window is defined to be between 6am to 23:59:00 of the Requested Execution Date.

Duplicate Qualification Time Window

For Service Initiation to be considered a duplicate this is is set to 2 hours.

Schedule Payments Time Window

The time window during which TPPs MUST submit their scheduled payments on the Requested Execution Date or any day that is defined in the Recurring Payment Schedule or the defined payment schedule . The time window is defined to be between 1am and 6am on the specified date
