LFIs are required to check for duplicate payment instructions and display a warning to Users as described here: Common Rules and Guidelines | 22. Supplementary Information. This warning is presented in the consent authorization screen.

The Open Finance standards do not specify a mechanism for implementing a duplicate check. LFIs should implement duplicate checking using their existing BAU process.
